| About the Author |
Anciently of the Clan Eakins of the Isle of Skye, Pamela Eakins is a scribe, sculptor, minister, poet, professor, mediator, and peacemaker. She has taught at the University of Colorado, Stanford University, and the California Institute of Integral Studies. She holds a doctorate in sociology from the University of Colorado. In 1990, Pamela founded the Pacific Center in Half Moon Bay, California where she teaches courses dedicated to personal transformation, cosmological understanding, and practices of peace. She also teaches classes privately and at the California Institute for Integral Studies.
In 2006, together with Dr. Brian Swimme, Pamela founded the Center for Visionary Cosmology in San Francisco, which offers studies, events, conferences, and certification programs in evolutionary consciousness. Pamela is the author of Tarot of the Spirit; Priestess; The American Way of Birth; and Mothers in Transition. Her mission is peacemaking and social change through the one true path—the quest for eternal Love.
Pamela Eakins is a dynamic spiritual teacher who regularly addresses conferences, colleges and spiritual centers around the country. Pamela holds book readings in California and at conference locations, has plans to promote the book in New Mexico, California, New York, Michigan and North Carolina, and has been invited to read and sell her book at a number of local poetry events.
